Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, Yesi Fortuna went from being an Ennis, TX high school graduate directly into a working photographer for the next 14 years. During this time she developed her creative eye and directing style.  Yesi uses photography and film as a medium to connect and express both the beauty and human condition that exists in all walks of life.

Whether she’s working on a portrait session, directing an interview, or a commercial, her creative process always starts from a place of authenticity. Over the course of the last 8 years, she has shot for magazines like Essence, Modern Luxury, and traveled throughout Europe telling stories along the way. Yesi makes every project personal and see’s to it that she is tapping into each story being told as though it were her own to tell.
