Trevor Gourley

Trevor Gourley spent a decade as an award-winning copywriter and creative director in Canada before transforming his ear for dialogue and eye for performance (along with his other body parts) into a career as a comedy director. He adds a strong, sharp and subversive bent to each job he takes on — and plays nice with creatives, agencies and clients alike. In his spare time, Trevor can be found hate-watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, love-watching old Simpsons episodes and asking his dog to please not eat that.

As a writer and a director,  Trevor has worked on major brands like Netflix, EA Sports, AB InBev, Molson Coors, Expedia, Honda, YUM!, Lyft, and Diageo. He's worked with celebrities like Michael B. Jordan, Mitch Marner, Kaley Cuoco, Rob Riggle, Idris Elba, Action Bronson and more.

Thanks to his mother being born in Northern Ireland, he has a Canadian, European and UK passport — along with crippling feelings of guilt and shame.
