Matt Carter Bio

Matt is a versatile Director, spanning comedy, documentary and celebrity. He's shot 100’s of TV Commercials, TV Sponsorship Idents and Online campaigns.

Prior to directing he studied graphic design and animation.
 
Matt’s a versatile director working across many genres including Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Animation, Puppetry, Kids, Food, Beauty, Celebrity and most recently Cars.

He has worked as a commercials director for the last 18 years including TV credits for 118 118, Suzuki, Burger King, McDonalds, Very.co.uk, Nintendo, Peacocks, Maplin, Just Eat, Pizza Hut, Lurpack, Flora, Knorr, Weetabix, Kinder, Kellogg’s, French’s, Rachel’s, Old Jamacia Ginger Beer, Guinness, Tick Tock Tea, Head and Shoulders, Herbal Essence, Sky Vegas as well as writing and directing 10 years of the Foxy Bingo campaign.

He has also worked on Online campaigns for Johnny Walker, Toyota, HP, Skype, Orange, EE, Lynx and Direct Line.

Along the way Matt has also worked with many celebrity talent including One Direction, Jonathan Ross, Ant and Dec, Chris O’Dowd on the launch of Moone Boy for Sky and ITV on the launch of the first Celebrity Juice – Live with Keith Lemon.

Most recently he's filmed with Anthony Joshua, Jesse Lingard and Tinie Tempah on a Lynx campaign.

Over the years he has also worked as writer and director across numerous projects for TV and Online. So has a wealth of experience in creating campaigns as well as directing them.

He's currently writing a pilot for a comedy drama series called the Death Diaries.
