Jonathan Zames is a multi Cannes Lions winning director whose work combines a strong photographic aesthetic with a flare for comedy. Comedy is perhaps what he is best known for, that said he is equally skilled at creating emotional, documentary-style work. His ability to switch to crisp lifestyle projects is yet another example of Zames’ seemingly endless range. His unique background as a cinematographer, accomplished screenwriter, and creative director for one of the world's biggest brands, makes for a truly singular sensibility and a deep understanding of how to create standout advertising.

As a filmmaker, Zames brings an eye for art direction and installation to his work. The combination of an experimental, visual art-world aesthetic with a comedic, slightly tongue in cheek undercurrent both sets Zames’ work apart and feels particularly of the moment.

Originally from Montreal, Jonathan is based in New York and shoots internationally, working in both French and English. He holds a Canadian Passport.
