Jeanne Kopeck Bio

Jeanne Kopeck has been a commercial director for the past 20+ years. Globally, she has helmed large projects on five continents, several times in places where she has been the first female director a crew has ever worked with. Whether working in the US or in locations as diverse as Brazil, China, South Africa, Afghanistan or Dubai, she has the expertise and passion to seamlessly translate a client’s vision to film.

Her technical proficiency, combined with “people” skills, have made her the director of choice for everything from celebrity-driven media marketing, testimonials and interview-based campaigns, to dramatic VFX spots and PSA’s. She is particularly comfortable working with animals and kids, two categories most directors dread.

Beyond her abilities on-set, Jeanne’s experience with branded content and creative direction has led to successful launches and campaigns for some of the world’s most respected media networks, including ABC, NBCU, Discovery, Animal Planet, FOOD Network, HGTV, ID, Nat Geo, Disney, Travel, DISH Network and many more.

During her prolific career, Kopeck has been awarded nine Emmys, dozens of BDAs, Tellys, Addys, NY Festival Awards, Art Directors Club Awards, and the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award.  Her short film “Killing Kevin” played in over 25 film festivals internationally, winning “Best of Show” in several.
